Orchestral Instruments Representing the quintessence of the harmony among string, wind, and percussion instruments The Orchestral Instruments Department helps students master their instruments and grow into future-oriented professional performers experienced in a broad range of performance formats. Here, students accumulate experience through participation in various types of performances featuring colorful melodies. To that end, the department instructs students on how to harness each instrument’s unique characteristics and refine and master their playing techniques. The Orchestral Instruments Department also helps students strengthen their skills by conducting a range of performance-related activities through which they can develop their performance repertoires and has students practice ensemble performances to foster a strong sense of community among them.
