Lee Yong-ju, a doctoral student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Kookmin University's Graduate School of General Studies (advisor: Kim Hyung-jin), has been selected as a Kookmin University* Star Researcher for the 2025 academic year.

National Star Researcher is a graduate student with high research performance (eligibility: two SCI/SCIE/SSCI papers as the first author or three or more SCI/SCIE/SSCI papers as the first author in international journals within the top 10% of the Impact Factor) This is a program that selects two students to support research talents. Students selected as National* Star Research Talents are provided with support benefits such as full tuition for current students, academic incentives (KRW 3 million per semester), overseas training, and priority hiring of emerging research talents.
