In-Young Shim, the team leader of the Career Development Support Team, which operates the Kookmin University (President Jung Seung-ryul) University Job Plus Center, was awarded the 'Minister of Employment and Labor Award' in the '2024 Labor Administration Commendation and Award Ceremony' held at the Seoul Northern Employment and Labor Bureau on Tuesday, December 31.

In-young Shim is currently the administrative head of three departments at the Career Development Support Center at Kookmin University: the Career Support Center, the Employment Support Center, and the Field Training Support Center. She has worked in the student career development department for more than 10 years, and has been making various efforts to promote youth employment, especially since 2018, when she began running the University Job Plus Center, a project of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, for the seventh year.

Kookmin University started the small-scale project of the University Job Center of the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2018 and operated the project for one cycle (2018-2023). It successfully completed the project, receiving an 'excellent' rating for performance evaluation four times out of the six years of the project period. In addition, in 2024, the center was selected for the second cycle of the University Job Plus Center project (hub type), and as a result of operating various programs such as the Job Fair with Graduates, the center has also received an 'Excellent' rating in the performance evaluation, while working in collaboration with various related organizations such as the Seoul Northern Employment Center, Seongbuk-gu Office, and the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Center.
