Kookmin University student Park Won-jae (Media Major/Department of Fashion Design, Class of 2018) won the Gold Prize_Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) Prize at the 52nd JoongAng Fashion Design Contest held at the DDP Fashion Mall on Friday, December 27.

The Jungang Fashion Design Contest is hosted and organized by the Jungang Fashion Design Association (Chairman Park Yoon-soo) and has contributed to the development of Korea's fashion history for half a century by discovering new designers and fostering talent.

This year's contest selected the final winners at the third fashion show after the first round of style-up work and the second round of physical works and presentations. The judges were Park Yoon-soo, chairman of CJ Group, senior designers Jin Tae-ok, Oh Eun-hwan, Jang Gwang-hyo, and Hwang Jae-geun, designer Kim Hong-beom, and Kim Geun-jae, CEO of BIMS Studio, a partner company.

A work that expresses the unfamiliar beauty of ethnic minorities who have come into contact with Western culture and technology
