The 2nd Leadership & Coaching Conference 2025, hosted by the Graduate School of Business Administration at Kookmin University, will be held on the 20th at the Academic Conference Hall in the Main Building of Kookmin University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Following the successful conclusion of last year's inaugural conference, this year's event has been organized with a focus on deeper discussions and a variety of topics.

This year's conference will focus on the theme of “Leadership Transformation in the AI Era,” exploring the essence of leadership and coaching in a rapidly evolving technological environment and seeking future directions. Renowned speakers from academia, coaching, and leadership will gather to share insights and engage with participants through various sessions and panel discussions.

Keynote speaker Koo Ki-wook (KOOFA) will present “Organizational Development and Leadership Transformation for Fundamental Change in the AI Era,” outlining the challenges and opportunities organizations face in the AI era and the role of leaders in effectively leveraging them.

The leadership session that follows will feature presentations by Professor Jae-In Kim (Kyung Hee University) on “The New Normal in the AI Era: Human Life and Leadership” and Honorary Professor Ki-Bok Baek (Kookmin University) on “Leadership Performance and Leadership Capital.” In addition, in the coaching session, Coach Kim Jong-cheol will introduce “The New Paradigm of Organizational Development: Systemic Team Coaching,” and Coach Cho Sun-kyung will present “Challenges for Qualitative Change in Leadership Coaching in the Age of AI.”

The highlight of the conference will be a panel discussion on “Recommendations for Leadership Transformation in the Age of AI.” Participants include Professor Yoon Jung-gu (Ewha Womans University), Bae Jae-hoon (President of the Korean Coaching Association), Dr. Lim Chang-hyun (SK Academy), and Koo Ki-wook (CEO of KOOFA), with Coach Kim Woong-bae (LG Inha Institute) moderating. They will explore practical strategies for change by connecting leadership, coaching, organizational culture, and industrial changes.

The Leadership and Coaching program at Kookmin University's Graduate School of Business Administration, which is hosting this conference, is the first in Korea to integrate leadership and coaching into its MBA curriculum, offering a program that combines practical relevance with international coaching certification.

Additionally, Kookmin University has recently been selected for the ‘AI Star Fellowship’ support program, alongside KAIST and two other universities in Korea, solidifying its position as a leading institution in AI. Against this backdrop, the second conference is expected to serve as a platform for leadership discourse focused on the essence of ‘humanity beyond technology.’
