Kookmin University and Santa Clara University School of Law School have been running a summer study co-program since 1994. Santa Clara Law School’s professors,alongside experts, lawyers and professors of the best schools,have been lecturing a variety of subjects such as: IT and Law, Scientific Technique and Law and Industry Property Rights, International Trade Law. This program is one of the summer study abroad programs that Santa Clara Law School is running in ten countries. Every year, around 10 Santa Clara Law School students visit Korea and attend the program at Kookmin University. Santa Clara Law School students earn 4 credits from the U.S. bar association after completing the program;Kookmin University students also receive credit from Santa Clara Law School. As a 2011 summer study co-program, an international trade law special course and co-summer session has been running since June 20th. In the summer study co-program, 12students of Santa Clara Law School registered for the course so they will complete the program with our students who are enrolled. All lecturesare given in English. Professors of Santa Clara Law School will lecturethe theoretical parts of international trade law and domestic professors including Kookmin University’s lecturers,will participate on the functional levelof international trade between Korea and the U.S. They are planning a variety of off-campus activities to vitalize the exchange of people and culture between U.S and domestic students.
