Jang Byung-kyu, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Krafton, took the stage at a special lecture hosted by Kookmin University (President Jeong Seung-ryul).

The event, held on Tuesday, April 29, at the Kookmin University Business Administration Building, was attended by approximately 250 undergraduate and graduate students. Jang Byung-gyu, Chairman of Krafton, delivered a lecture on the theme of “AMA (Ask Me Anything),” sharing his experiences in building global company Krafton and the globally popular game “PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS,” and offering advice for young people as future leaders.

Jang Byeong-gyu opened the lecture by emphasizing the importance of self-identity. He identified the keywords that define his identity as “South Korea,” “global,” and “achievement,” and introduced himself as the leader of the most global game company in South Korea, driven by his love for his country. He then highlighted immersion and growth as the core elements necessary to achieve success. Chairman Jang advised, “In order to achieve success and happiness, you need strong internal motivation, and to do that, you need to understand yourself well, which is your identity.”

The event also included a Q&A session where participants asked questions directly to Chairman Jang Byung-kyu. Students asked questions on various topics, such as ▲Why they entered the game industry ▲Areas of business they are interested in ▲How to overcome the fear of failure ▲Key considerations when selecting collaboration partners, among other topics, and sought wisdom from Chairman Jang. One student who participated in the lecture shared, “I have always been interested in business and had many concerns about human relationships that arise in the process, but through communication with Chairman Jang Byung-gyu, I received great help.”
