Kookmin University (President Jeong Seung-ryul) held the 'Kookmin* Cherry Blossom Photo Studio Season 2' event on April 9 (Wed) and April 11 (Fri) to promote communication and exchange among school members and strengthen cooperation within the organization.

This event was planned so that professional photographers would take photos of participants against the backdrop of the cherry blossom spots on campus, and participants could receive the original photo files by email on the spot.

In particular, last year's event was only open to faculty members, but this year, the event was expanded to include students and the number of filming locations was increased to three, significantly increasing the scale of the event. As a result of these changes, about 2,300 people, including faculty members including the deans, as well as students, participated in the event, which ended in a warm and lively atmosphere.

Lee Eun-hyung, head of the Office of External Affairs at Kookmin University, said, “We have planned an event that all members of the university can enjoy together as the cherry blossom season arrives,” and added, “I hope that this ‘Kookmin University Cherry Blossom Photo Studio Season 2’ event will spread positive energy on campus and that everyone will cherish their precious memories at Kookmin University.”

Baek Hye-won, a student at Kookmin University who participated in the event, said, “A professional photographer took the pictures for us, so we were able to capture special moments that are difficult to experience easily,” and “I think this time of laughing and taking pictures with my friends will remain in my memory for a long time.”
