Kookmin University, MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) conclusion with Memorial University, Newfoundland, Canada.

 

Professor Jeong, Seung Ryul who is the director of International Affairs made a contractual MOU with Memorial University last May.

The contract was created for study and exchange between the two institutions. Sonja Knutson, director of International Affairs and Noreen Golfman, director of the Graduate School, both of Memorial University, and Prof. Jeong, Seung Ryul from our school and attended the ceremony of this contract completion.

In this contract the two institutions are planning to actively exchange research and study, and organize the exchange of students in various fields such as art, science, business etc.

Pro. Jeong, director of International Affairs, met a representative of Memorial University at the Saudi Arabia International Education Fair last April. During his visit, he saw the International Centre, the graduate school, and the Department of Business Administration of Memorial University and signed a contract to actively exchange between the two universities.

Memorial University is a public university located in Saint John’s, Newfoundland and was founded in 1925. It has campuses in various locations with about eighteen thousand students in total. The main campus is located in Saint John’s.

Memorial University shows active interest in participating in a program for exchanging students with our university. On their university’s homepage they stated that the MOU is a remarkable accomplishment for implementing the international strategy of Memorial University.
