Concert Hall Multipurpose Demonstration (May 19, 2011)

The Concert Hall, which was the symbol of Kookmin University's cultural icon, has been remodeled and upgraded for multipurpose use for events such as cultural performances and international conferences. We installed a large retractable screen at the front wall of the stage, equipped the room with four high quality projectors and high resolution cameras in front and back. Also, we upgraded with a super-sensitive sound system and changed all 564 seats into anti-sound-absorbing chairs.

Through this big scale remodeling, the Concert Hall became suitable for screening high quality films and cultural performances includes dance, choir and orchestra performance, rather than only for musical performances as in the past.
And because many lectures such as international conferences and seminars can use the features of the newly equipped screen with RTES, this hall can become the base for our many schools and majors laboratory use.

At this multipurpose demonstration, we will introduce all the functions of the hall and hope to have many of the teaching staff participate.  And it is our desire to have this facility used for many diverse activities and functions in the future.
