On Sep.26 2024, the Bugak Broadcasting
Service (BBS) hosted its annual
Broadcasting Festival in the Administration
Hall of Kookmin University (KMU).
This year marks the 48th Broadcasting
Festival, and the theme of the year was
“amusement park.” According to the BBS,
its goal with this year’s festival was to
emphasize how each of us has our own
unique story about our life and how our
life consists of both happy and sad times.
In line with this year’s “amusement park”
theme, the BBS aimed to invoke the
innocence and dreams of our past and
encourage KMU students to remember
their childhood passions, allowing each
of us to reconnect with our “own story.”

Road to the Underworld
In front of KMU, there is an area where
small restaurants and businesses reside,
famously referred to as the “Underworld.”
The BBS investigated the inconveniences
and discomforts faced by both KMU
students and these business owners,

getting to the core of issues that have
remained unsolved for many years. It
also shared some ways in which these
problems can be mitigated with the help
and hard work of the community.

Roller Coaster: Exploration of the BBS
This is a parody of a famous TV show
that aired several years ago. Throughout
this program, the BBS aimed to explain
the difficulties faced by each of its
departments with satire and humor. Each
department and its members reenacted
comedic scenes with diverse narratives
about the hardships and struggles
employees felt while working at the BBS.

Merry-Go-Round
This is a love story that metaphorically
applies a carousel to a couple who
ultimately find each other after a long
time apart. The BBS hopes that this story
rekindles its viewers’ memories of their
own experiences of immature love when
they were young.
