Since the conclusion of MOU with KBS MEDIATECH in September last year for industry-academic cooperation, the Department of Entertainment Design in the School of Design and KBS MEDIATECH decided to jointly produce the special visual effect of <Jeongdojeon>, a KBS’ historical drama in 2014. <Jeongdojeon> is a new drama being endeavored by KBS this 2014.
KBS MEDIATECH connects the highly professional educational achievement of the Department of Entertainment Design in the School of Design for the drama production and grants scholarship for a semester to the participating students. Thus, five people among sophomore and junior students in the Department of Entertainment Design are currently working in the Special Effect Center of KBS MEDIATECH.
Besides the drama <Jeongdojeon>, the Department of Entertainment Design in the School of Design is participating in the special effect and post-production of a new documentary program <The Brain of God> and various cultural and entertainment programs in KBS and a drama <Mother Needs a Man> in JTBC.
Using this as a momentum, the Department of Entertainment Design in Kookmin University and KBS MEDIATECH agreed to promote the construction of industry-academic cooperation system to maintain highly professional cooperative relationship while maintaining keen relationship between the two parties.
