Kookmin University Graduate School of Automobile and Mobility Automotive Applied Acoustics and Vibration Control Laboratory (A3VC, Advisor: Professor Shin Sung Hwan) participated in the 2025 Fall Joint Academic Conference of The Acoustical Society of Korea and Korean Society for Music Perception and Cognition, held at Sono Calm Yeosu from November 19 to 21, 2025, and presented their research findings.

Master's student Lee Ji Ho received the Outstanding Presentation Award in the poster session for his research titled “Ball Bearing Condition Detection Using Spectral Correlation and Physics-Based Information.” In the academic presentation category, Master's candidate Lee Ji Hoon received an Excellent Presentation Award for “A Low-Latency Band-Separating ANE Algorithm with Improved Computational Efficiency and Convergence Performance,” Master's candidate Lee Jung Wook received an Excellent Presentation Award for “Improving the Accuracy of Operating Transmission Path Analysis (OTPA) Using ILRMA,” and Park Jin Je, a master's student, won the Excellent Presentation Award for their research on “Design for Broadband Noise Reduction Using Cylindrical Rainbow Trapping Absorbers.”

Meanwhile, the Automotive Applied Acoustics and Vibration Control Laboratory precisely measures and analyzes noise and vibration generated in automobiles and machinery, researching noise quality-based control and vibration reduction technologies. Through this, it aims to achieve comfortable interior noise levels and excellent ride comfort, thereby enhancing vehicle performance, quality, and safety. Ultimately, it is continuously working to develop competitive, low-noise, low-vibration eco-friendly vehicles for the global automotive industry.
